Sunday, September 22, 2024 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

The how
Join us this Sunday to meet your potential future school board members.Your input is essential in shaping the future of our schools. How do their priorities align with yours? Please give this thoughtful consideration and at the forum present your questions as they focus not on the past, but on the future of your school district. Index cards will be supplied for your questions. All questions will be written, submitted and screened to avoid duplicate or inappropriate content. The submitted questions will be randomly selected and NOT directed to any specific candidate. Allotted time for public participation will be limited, so not all questions may not be presented during the actual forum. However, Candidates will be available afterwards to personally meet with community members for a ‘Meet & Greet’ until 9:00 p.m.

An experienced, professional MODERATOR from Community Mediation Services has been secured for this event. Candidates and community members are expected to conduct themselves in a healthy, respectful manner at all times and a reminder this event is a FORUM and not a debate.

The Who
All fourteen candidates have been invited to participate: Joseph Bonnard, Kathleen Christian, James ‘Gibby’ Gibson, Lorri Kowalski, John Kazonyi, Sheri LaFave, Thomas Moran, Annette Porter, John Palmer, Taed Price, Stacey Porter, James Rieger, Jeremy Veal, Lain Veihl.

Candidates electing to complete and submit the Candidate Questionnaire have indicated their #1, #2, #3 future priorities, should they be elected to the position in November.
